Referenced in Shrine of Telly: Week 3 (2022)
Originally set with CBS for a series commitment in 2020, it was cancelled just before the first episode was due to film due to COVID. This has now been picked up by Netflix for a 10-episode first season based on Mickey Haller’s second book “The Brass Verdict.” Mickey Haller has multiple cars, all of which have personalized California license plates with legal terms on them. Personalized California license plates allow for a maximum of seven letters/numbers, but all of Mickey’s license plates have at least eight.
It’s very bold to give Manuel Garcia-Rulfo the lead role
and it seems like a lot of people have a hard time wrapping their heads around it… but his soft approach gets the job done and he fits in very well in Los Angeles. It seems like the whole character development was a gamble…
I should give it a 7
I think it will pay off in the long run. but I’m giving it a 9 to counteract the people who are completely wrong. I finished the series in 3 sittings…
